The requirement for an Irrigation and Nitrogen Management Plan does not apply to irrigated pasture with no external nitrogen inputs.
For irrigated pasture with external nitrogen inputs:
All growers/members must prepare and implement an Irrigation and Nitrogen Management Plan for each field. The Irrigation and Nitrogen Management Plan needs to be completed and maintained at the member’s/grower’s farming operation headquarters or primary place of business and available if requested by Regional Board staff. All Members in High Vulnerability Groundwater Quality Areas must have their Irrigation and Nitrogen Management Plans certified. Contact your coalition for questions about High Vulnerability Groundwater Areas.
An Irrigation and Nitrogen Management Plan Summary Report must be submitted annually for the previous crop year to your appropriate coalition.
Before using this application to complete required nitrogen management planning of fertilized parcels, especially in High Vulnerability Groundwater Quality Areas, please seek assistance from the appropriate certified professional.
